About

We understand how expensive your home was to buy, when we approach a new project to refurbish or extend a property, we undertake a deep analysis of the existing configuration and look for the opportunities and potential that it already possesses.

We then leverage these inherent possibilities and link them to the further work so that the end result extracts the maximum potential of both the existing and the new. We will find room, create spaces and storage areas that might not be instantly apparent.

We characterize this approach as precision design where every part of the building from the square centimeter to the square meter is made to work hard to deliver its maximum potential.

Working with our clients we advise what is necessary, what is desirable and what is possible.

We always extract more from a building than is immediately apparent enhancing them with double height spaces and flooding them with natural daylight we create calm, logical, flowing spaces.

We start from a conceptual position that all new work should protect your investment. This means that all new construction work must bring additional amenity and enhance what exists already.

For example, if you are replacing a kitchen, at a base level, there is one that already exists, so this is, in effect spending money to stand still.

So, if a kitchen needs to be replaced due to age or condition, we ensure that it does more than the one it replaces, providing more storage, more counter tops, and a greater integration to the flow of the space in which it sits.

If the property is to be extended, then we ensure that the new spaces form part of a whole so that each enhances the other. With the use of high-level clerestory glazing, we ensure that spaces which have become encapsulated by the extension do not become dark orphaned spaces but uplifting, naturally lit rooms that link with the new.

We do not have a set house stye and approach every commission with an open mind. We listen to you and develop your ideas to form a collaborative partnership to unlock the potential of your home.

We ensure that the end result is always calm, contemporary, beautiful, exciting and practical.
